On all the days of Christmas that I’ve really sucked at posting

you met a an eevee but couldn’t decide whether to evolve her into an espeon, glaceon, jolteon, or flareon!

sorry guys, I know I haven’t post in awhile. Things have been busy and I’ve been with my boyfriend who I haven’t gotten to see since about a month ago and am trying to see him as often as possible before I go back to school in January. I’m going to a funeral down in Florida after Christmas and he’s out in Texas now – or at least he’s in the airport waiting to go.

As for the eeveelution hats there are the ones shown, but I need to restock eevee and umbreon. Plus add the red dot to espeon’s forehead (I didn’t forget, I just didn’t have red thread with me) and add jolteon’s face, because faces are good things to have.

Anyhow, Merry Christmas!

Not at all relevant to what I have been talking about

We went and sold successfully today (well yesterday now but whatever). They told us to come back during the week at lunch hours because everyone’s away for the game right now. Me being the oh so knowledgeable person when it comes to sports of course had no idea what game they were talking about and am still in the dark as to who we’re playing if it’s even Alabama that’s playing. That’s not what this post is about though! I’m pulling from my other sites because my computer is getting fixed and bring you the My Little Pony hats and two of my older hats.

Soooooo……

Going down Sorority Row didn’t exactly work. We tried but turns out no one was home. We’re trying again tomorrow around 5:30, hopefully we can hit it up right before the rush to get ready for partying starts.

Just another bit of what is being shown to the girls there:

 

I don’t know if you can see that well (I’m not that good with a camera and my photographer lives up in Huntsville). One side says Keep Calm and Carry On while the other side has a crown. I really enjoy this trend, from what I understand the Keep Calm and Carry On was originally a wartime poster durng WWII. It’s a way of bringing history to the present and carrying part of our heritage with us. I understand that we’re not all British, but we all know about WWII and can be happy that it’s not being repeated.

It’s important to keep your heritage with you. I’m not saying you can’t and shouldn’t be interested in other things and cultures – in fact I think everyone should study other cultures, religions, and ways of life whether they are related to them or not. There’s something special about looking at a piece of jewelry, or a building, or painting and being able to say, I can relate to that, my ancestors made that, or my ancestors used that.

 

The cladaugh is something I particularly enjoy. I come from a very European background though I am definitely American and I was raised to appreciate that. There’s something sweet about wearing a claduagh and wondering about the people who wore it before you.

 

Well I really got off of talking about Sorority girls, but we will be out there tomorrow!
